Edward Hartley

Having left school in 1993, I decided to come straight home to join the family farm, which in those days consisted of a 700 acre arable unit, as well as a small grain drying and cleaning operation. Working alongside my late father Robert, after a year or two, we could see the grain management side of the business growing and we both strived to meet the continual needs for the industry and our customers. My away time mainly consists of country pursuits, sailing, motorsport and I have a keen interest in historical buildings.
Brin Walker
After 28 years of HGV driving, I finally decided that it was time for a change, knowing that I had wanted to stay close to the farming side of things, when the opportunity to join Hartley farms came up, I thought that there was no better place to plant my feet than with Edward.
Having been delivering and collecting grain to and from Hartley Farms, there was already a friendly and well established connection made so for me it was a clear and natural decision to make.
I am very excited about joining the team and look forward to working alongside them and enhancing my knowledge of the ever changing way that UK agriculture adapts and embraces the way that we feed our nation.
